Description
This Handel prelude has a soft, warm E major sonority. Though it lasts only about a minute and a half, it features improvisatory arpeggios and continuous figuration that draw out the harpsichord's full resonance. True to the character of a Baroque prelude, it offers a brief but advanced-level showcase of flowing harmonic movement.
