Description
This rondo was composed in 1828, while Chopin was still a student at the Warsaw Conservatory. A cheerful C major theme returns in varied guises across a classical rondo structure, giving the young composer room to display brilliant technical passages. Its bright, extroverted character differs from the more introspective lyricism of his later works, and at over eight minutes it is a substantial early piece that demands considerable finger agility.

Frédéric Chopin (1810-1849)
