Description

Handel's Voluntary No.6 lasts about six minutes yet contains over four thousand notes, giving it an unusually dense texture. The voluntary is a keyboard genre with an improvisatory character, typically featuring free figuration and contrapuntal development. The high note density suggests continuous fast passagework, making this a demanding piece for advanced players requiring solid technique and stamina.

A broad collection of standalone piano pieces not belonging to any specific set, offering hundreds of varied character pieces to explore and compare.
